Cointreau Christmas puddings contain orange oil and a generous shot of Cointreau. This gives the pudding a lovely orangey flavour and is something a little bit different for your Christmas table.

Ingredients

Raisins, currants, sultanas, vegetarian suet, sugar, flour, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, orange oil, free range eggs, breadcrumbs, Irish Stout, French brandy, Cointreau and mixed spices.

Heating Instructions

Steam - Christmas puddings I think benefit more from steaming as a reheating process rather than microwaving. Remove outer packaging and place in a colander over a pan of boiling water for approximately one hour or two (depending on size).

Microwave - based on a 900 watt machine. Remove outer packaging and place in the microwave. Cook on full power for three minutes, let it rest for two minutes. Microwave on full power for one more minute and let it rest again for two minutes.

Serving

Invert the pudding on to a warmed plate and serve with brandy butter, double cream or custard.
